Stopp-IT AB was founded already back in 2006, then under the name Surveillance Systems Scandinavia AB. The company was then completely dedicated to innovation and portfolio management of IPRs.

The owners have since then decided to refocusing the business to also included business development, manufacturing and distribution of its products. The company name was changed in 2008 to Stopp-IT AB in order to better reflect the business.

In 2008 Stopp-IT launched its innovate locking system aimed for the AV and IT industry. Due to the high level of innovative conceptualization the product has of course applications in many other application areas like boats.

Stopp-IT has in its IPR portfolio a number of patents as well as patents pending.
